Is there wheelchair access?
Not without prior arrangement. Both the main entrances, one via Villiers Street and the other via Northumberland Avenue, are access via stairs. However, special arrangement may be made if advanced notice is provided. Please call to discuss on 07540 144433 or 01483 283829.
Is the market open throughout the year?
Yes, the market is open every Saturday with the exception of Easter Weekend, Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.
What are the opening hours?
The market is open to the public from 7am until 3pm.
What types of traders am I likely to come across at the market?
The market specialises in coins, banknotes and Stamps and post cards. However it varies from week to week and there are also militaria and ephemera traders who also regularly attend.
Is there parking at the venue?
No, there is only limited parking available for stallholders. Public parking is available in the local multi-storey facilities and parking metres.
Are there toilets on site?
Unfortunately, the toilet facilities are reserved for stall holders only. There are public conveniences located nearby the embankment Tube on the river side.
Are there refreshments available on site?
There is complimentary tea and coffee for stall holders only. However, there is a plethora of coffee bars and restaurants close by.
How Many Trader Stalls are there?
This varies from week to week. On average we expect approximately 25 to 35 traders. They occupy anything from one to six tables regularly.
